Safari vs. Firefox

Currently using Firefox. I like it. It seems to get hung up sometimes when I have more than 4-5 tabs open and downloading big pages, but I guess that would be the case with any browser.
How does Safari match up?

Safari is a worser memory hog than FF2. It looks nice and all and is quick but has some serious memory issues

BTW, I would just say that based on my personal experience I might put Safari ahead of Opera. But I have not used Opera in a while so perhaps it has improved.
