Here are my thoughts. May or may not mean anything because I would trust Stout or Orphan's opinions more. I really think that you should make your people and logos bigger. They are harder to see when they are smaller and I think you could see a little more detail when they are big. I also think that you should play around with the blending options, like the outlining and shadowing effects. For your backgrounds I would recommend downloading Gimp and then downloading some cool looking brushes and then save them as a jpeg and bring that into photoshop and then insert your graphics. That's just my opinion. Keep it up though, getting better.

I just joined this forum recently, but I was wondering if there was a way to alter my avatar and signature photos. Right now, they are too big because they are over 30K, but I am having a lot of trouble finding anything that is under 30K and still quality.
I am seeing lots of very detailed pics. How did you guys get them to fit the maximum requirement?

If you have photoshop or a similar program, you can reduce the size in pixels to approved dimensions, then ss you save as a JPEG - reduce the quality from 10 to 7 or whatever gets you under the limit....
Otherwise - Post your "too big" pics here and we'll shrink 'em for ya.

Unfortunately, I don't know how to use photoshop. However, here are the two photos I wanted to use. The first is for my avatar, and the second would be for my signature (which is why it currently makes no sense without the photo). Thanks in advance for the help.

Save these to your computer, then upload them to your myspace, photobucket or whatever and use them from there....
If you want to use this image as your permanent sig pic, I can fiddle with it a little more and add your screen name. If not, post your sig pic request here in the future.
