damn. that's fiya tim. sorry, i been real busy lately closing in my formal dining room into an office/man cave for myself. Computer has been down for almost 2 months. you ought to see it finished. framed jerseys, superbowl trophy, framed prints, flat screen, surround sound, theater recliner, my beastly computer setup, and all kinds of other saints garb decked out. i haven't touched photoshop in a while. might start doing some work. honestly, i haven't had the "itch" to start doing anything lately.

No. I don't have the software capacity for brushes. I google search "free photoshop textures." When i find one I like, I copy and paste it in as a layer. Then I edit it to get the desired effect.
This one, I changed the layer properties, hue and saturation, brightness and contrast ratio, added noise to give a grunge look, transparency and edge effects and then added that purple stripe fill over the entire layer.
Mathieu has been masked and feathered. Contrast ration changed. And a slight background gaussian blur glow effect.
I guess, technically, it's kind of "cheating." But then again, unless you make your own brushes, that could be considered cheating as well.

His stuff and the Godfather's have been my model for how I'd like my athlete photo editting images to look.
