Petition: Change "Up vote/Down vote" to "Upvote/Downvote" or "Up-vote/Down-vote"

The "Up vote" and "Down vote" we have now is a great utility! The only problem, in an grammatical sense is "Up vote" and "Down vote" lack syntax in that the two words, when separated do not mean anything, yet a small fix would change all of this!
The internet has adopted the words Upvote and Downvote as actual words, while not accepted in Webster's Dictionary (yet), these do a better job at explaining what the feature is than "Up vote" or "Down vote" does.
If "Up vote" and "Down vote" were hyphenated to "Up-vote" or "Down-vote" then this would be a verb that would directly describe the action a user is taking when they use this feature.
While I do not have a preference to the use of neither the compound word nor the hyphenated word versions outlined above, both serve as a more proper syntax than the "Up vote" and "Down vote" labels we currently have.
This thread is to serve a petition in that respect, to change the current labels to either mentioned as better alternatives.
Thank you.

But, for real. There's no arguing that I'm write. And it would only take changing a space in 2 lines of code to make it all work.

Be that as it may, expect the status quo.

When I hover my cursor over the green arrow it reads "Up Vote". When I hover my cursor over the red arrow it reads "Down Vote". I clicked on that one.
