His IP adress is identical to that of another poster. That's a problem. Do you have an explanation for that?

No. But then again I don't understand quantum law.

quote:Funny you should say that. I just got finished reading some books about the great physicists of the 20th century. That period in the 20's where quantum theory was being hashed out by Bohr, Dirac, Pauli, Heisenberg, Born, Schrodinger, Planck, Jordan, Oppenheimer, et al has to be one of the most exciting times in workd history.
No. But then again I don't understand quantum law.
And like you, I do not understand quantum physics. I do find it fascinating, howeer.

You read American Prometheus? That book is fricking awesome if so. Biography on Oppenheimer...led such a fascinating and tragic life, I just finished it a couple months ago and would suggest it if you like that stuff
But about phoot, we got trolled...he was claiming his BIL worked at the Austin airport and saw Saban get off a gulfstream last night

I just started re-reading Richard Rhodes' "The Making of the Atomic Bomb." Read it back in the 80's when it first came out. Selected as one of the top 100 non-fiction books of the 20th century and I wholeheartedly agree with that assessment. The first 279 pages, tracing the developments in physics from the mid-late 1800's through 1941 that culimnated in the making of the bomb, are worth the price of the book. From page 280 the story is about Los Alamos and WWII and that part is great as well.

I'm familiar with quantum physics and will get this book. Thanks, LA.
