Need help looking for a prominent SB poster who has gone AWOL

There is a poster on the SB who has been missing the past 2 months. Super active poster who just up and stopped posting two months ago. Many of us on the board are concerned that something happened to him. I know he lives in the same city as me but I have no idea how to contact him or do a welfare check or anything like that. Any advice is appreciated. For those curious, the poster is pvilleguru and I’m convinced he wouldn’t have stopped posting unless something happened to him. I know he works as a referee for high school soccer games in the area (Birmingham) but that’s all the info I have to go on.

Where are you seeing that? I see his last post on 9/8.
He was a prolific poster on the SB and had a stickied thread he updated daily. There have also been recent results for teams he supports where he almost assuredly would have posted about, but nada.

There are plenty of posters who just stop posting. Look at any old thread that’s linked or bumped and see how many familiar names you see that you haven’t seen in a while.
Could also be that his alter took off and he’s been posting like a mofo as OweO.

I get that, and it’s for sure a possibility, however this guy was super dedicated to a stickied thread that he updated multiple times a day. He’s very soccer obsessed and it seems weird he would just stop without mentioning something. Not even a check in when he gets mentioned (I’m not the only person on the SB wondering what happened to him).

The “you want proof LA is a shithole” thread had me checking all of the last posts from the handles I recognized and there are a few who haven’t posted in over a year and you wouldn’t know why by looking at their last post.
There was one poster who had a good bit of (no message) posts that were edited so apparently someone figured out their handle.
Maybe your guy got a promotion or finally took that once in a lifetime vacation.

The admins can see when the last time someone logged in. You can only see when they post.
