Are the people who are blatantly creating these alters getting banned?

A lot of time the original name is already banned

Problem is .. They don't know for sure .. Smartphones surfing on 3G, 4G, and LTE are an alter's heaven right now .. As long as they don't frick up and post from their old Wi-Fi addy, they're basically undetectable .. Then, even when they're busted . they pull the roommate, housemate, spouse, "buddy was over and I left my account up" excuse .. and are getting away with it ..

It is what it is ... When management lifted the "no Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail, etc." email addy restriction, they opened the flood gates ..

How do you know that restriction was lifted?
Unless...

admins stated it on here awhile back. it probably hurts membership when you say you need a paid email address

Oh, I must have missed it. Thanks.
I thought the professional email address requirement was a good buffer against alters and underage kids.

They probably did it for the page views and ad hits.
