I only see the options of copy link and copy image link.

What device/browser are you using?

When you're viewing the image on the imgur page (imgur.com), hold down on the picture itself until you feel it vibrate for a moment, and then click on Copy.

Then back here, paste that direct url as your image link.

You can also use something like this site.


Although if it's a personal image (on your phone) to being with, Mr. Chicken is correct — it's easier to use Postimages:

• Go to Postimages.

• On desktop, drag an image onto that page — on mobile, click Choose images and find it.

• Once it uploads, look for the link that says Direct link, and press the blue file icon next to that to copy that link to your clipboard.

• Back here in the forum, press the img markup button, and paste that copied link into the pop-up box, then click OK or Submit.

• Click on Preview to see your image.

Ahh, okay.

I've never used that so I couldn't say exactly, but make sure whatever resulting link you end up with ends in .jpg, .gif, or .png, and it should work here.

What you might be looking for is something like this:





Always click on Preview first before you submit, and you'll be able to tell if your image is displaying correctly.

Just chiming in to confirm somethings changed with the Imgur app. Im on Android and it's nor giving direct file links anymore here either.
