Is copy/pasting from a site that copied from diff site illegal?

Curious because I made a thread for Mel Kiper's Mock Draft on the MSB which beyond the first 5 picks requires ESPN Insider to see however I got the copy/paste from BleacherReport with all 31 picks. Thread got whacked with a PM that the site could be sued for posting premium info. But BR isn't a pay site and safely listed all the picks.

If it's from a pay site it's copyrighted material. The owners don't want it posted on here for legal reasons.

If your post got deleted and you got a PM explaining why and asking you not to do it again, I am guessing that you should probably just chalk it up to lessons learned and not do the shite...
