I need to know the appropriate board for a topic

Admins: I am currently reading Basic Economics by Thomas Sowell for an internet course for school and the material is interesting to say the least.
I would like to post discussion topics from time to time while I am reading it, quoting certain aspects about economics from his book.
I would just like to know what board you feel is more appropriate to post it on for the discussion of economics, as it is important to all aspects of government and society.
money or political?
There is a lot of good information that a lot of people, liberal or conservative, can learn from this book, and I feel it would be a good thing for all involved.

As someone who has deliberated many times over whether to put a created thread on one of these boards versus the other, my opinion would be that it's definitely not appropriate for the Money Talk board, as that board is mostly for practical advice, and every now and then, some theory behind market trends and stuff.
Most anything with economics having to deal with "all aspects of government and society" belongs on the Political Talk board.
The types of economic/political subjects that might go on the Money Talk board would be those having to do with central bank policy, inflation expectations (especially when tied in with its potential effects on specific asset classes), the expected fallout to specific industries from regulatory changes that are in the works in Congress (see especially, financial regulation), etc.
So if Sowell talks about Sarbanes-Oxley, or the free cash flow problem in corporate America, or the regulation of lending standards, or the problems with monetarizing public debt, then that could go on the Money Talk board. But my guess is that most of Sowell's stuff in that book should go on the Political Talk board.

I dunno. 9 out of every 10 posts on economic matters on the Poli Board are factually incorrect.
The core money board guys are infinitely more qualified to hold a conversation on the subject matter than the typical politard.
I'd say post it on the OT and avoid the piihb responses.
