Here's the thing. It takes extraordinary crappiness and a complete lack of any redeeming value whatsoever for someone even to receive consideration for bannage. It's just not something that's taken lightly or done on a whim.

So where do we draw the line? The vast majority of you people exist somewhere on the crapiness continuum. But people who get run are really asking for it, breaking board rules, and generally just polluting the boards. If we lower the standards, we risk taking out the bulk of active posters.
