It’s persisting into boards other than the OT and based on the types of threads, this is as big as “hurricane board” that has been enacted in the past.

Pin the 6k reply thread and begin moving all appropriate threads there. Think of it as “TD Triage”...

It should be temporary, but it should happen ASAP.

Do the right thing here, fellas. It needs its own space so that the rest of the ENTIRE board can get back to a modicum of normalcy.

I agree. I felt embarrassed and toxic the moment I hit “submit”...

And I agree that a “help board policeman” might be necessary, if you treat the HB like the OT, no one wins.

I wholeheartedly believe I wasn’t making an obnoxious suggestion in the OP in an effort to bring back, again, a sense of normalcy.

I realize that the topic is now off-track because I was baited and responded exactly how he wanted me to. For that, I apologize... but hope that the sentiment doesn’t fall to the wayside because of a few stupid comments on both sides.
