How far back does the search feature go?

Google/whatever search engine + your search term(s) + tigerdroppings is how I've had the most success finding old things.

There’s two search engines on there, for the older stuff use the google one.

You’re going to have to use Lycos, Dogpile or AskJeeves to get what you’re searching for.
