Do upvotes from deleted threads stay on my permanant account?

I seriously had near 30 upvotes in a single thread and then the thread was deleted. Please tell me my puns were not in vein and that my permanant record will reflect the joy I bring to this site, at times.
Also, I had a previous account in 2004 or so with a similar name. I lost access to the email account and have not been able to use the username. I had upwards of 7 posts under that name and would like those added to my current post count.
