For a couple of days now all TD.com pages are taking something like 8-10 seconds for my computer to load.

All the other sites I go to are loading at their normal fast speed.

I've cleared the cache and no luck speeding up TD.

Any suggestions?

I haven't had that issue at all… What device are you using?

Maybe butch's fatter cat is sitting on your laptop...slowing it down?

It's a two-year old Lenovo laptop PC, Core i7, 10th generation, solid state 256 GB hard drive with 117 GB used and I just started noticing the problem this week.

The slowdown is not constant but intermittent...about 75% of the time.

If I'm the only one this is happening to then it must be a me problem. It's just strange that it's only occurring when I'm on TigerDroppings.

I've run the virus check routine, disk cleanup and defrag, etc. No help.

Thanks for replying.

can you try a different browser to see if the issue persists?

Yes, I will. Thanks.

EDIT: I switched to MS Edge browser and it does seem to be faster loading TD pages.

Any suggestions as to why Firefox is slower?

I prefer Firefox because of its "no tracking" feature. But if it means TD is going to be so slow, I'll switch permanently to a different browser.

What browser do you like to use?

I use Chrome on my laptop...

Perhaps Firefox had a recent update that is buggy?

That's possible. On Monday or Tuesday Firefox posted a notification to restart my computer to finish installing a new update and I did.

It's odd that the "buggy" update only seems to impact TD on my PC.

Maybe that browser is run by 'bama grads...

I appreciate your help.
