I feel like Weave has decided he doesn't like me very much, even though he has never met me

He doesn't like me either, and he's met me.

Ok. Well, y'all think and we'll get something booked.
Be mindful of parades and routes/closures etc.

I think what this topic brings up is a bigger issue at hand - that many people on this site don't agree with the current setup or structuring of boards. An entire board dedicated to soccer? No health or wellness board? Sports not having their own board can't be discussed on the MORE SPORTS Board?
+1

Can disc golf piggyback on the new board? It is one of the fastest growimg games on the planet, and just like the silly stickers we can talk about various discs, throwing techniques, putting styles, course designs and the hot chicks who like to play.
Maybe it's time for a Frisbee board in general. Huck it!

I'm sure that could be arranged.

A golf board eliminates the need for the admins to seemingly wage war on everyone who seems to enjoy the game.
That's exactly what's happening.
And I like how you assume the thread wasn't read before anchoring, I guess it's part of the anti golf war.
The problem with golf being discussed is that it has to be discussed on two boards. Events and discussion related to those belongs on the MSB. For guys to discuss where to play, equipment, technique, etc they need to be on the OT.
Splitting the threads definitely makes it harder to discuss without getting threads anchored or whacked.
Should a Golf Board be added, maybe. Are other boards more deserving of being added first, probably.

You know as we all do that the Soccer Board is a result of the World Cup board that was initially added. Soccer is the most popular sport in the world, but the other side of the argument is that its not one of the most popular boards on TD.com.

The problem is that the admins now want a new thread for every topic. In the old "Posting Rules" the admins asked that we search the board for a thread that was already related to our topic.
With that philosophy from the admins, I'm assuming that they want new threads for every new golf topic.

Was it you that started a "is golf a sport" thread? Was that the type of fascinating discussions we could look forward to?

If you don't like golf, don't open the thread.
Sounds easy enough, amirite?
