Can we get a tutorial on posting an image?
Apparently you have to be a 39 year old shut in (that's turning it around) or a baby with an Iphone shoved up it's ass. Why is it so difficult? Your killing us.

isolate the image in it's own tab (right click the image to "open in new tab" or just click on the image

once the image is separated in its own tab or window, copy the link

paste that same link in the box that pops up when you hit the "quote" button

good luck and try to be brave

A how to on how to post my avatar would be helpful. Ive observed this board for a long time before I signed up and now realize there are a bunch of user avatars that are actually pretty funny.

right click any image you see on the internet, select copy image address, paste this into the img pop up. Really not complicated

There is a FAQ on the site that gives you some information.

quote:

Q: How do I display images for avatars and signatures? A: Images must already be hosted on the internet. To determine the location of a hosted image, right click on the image and select“Properties.” Copy the location address, navigate to the “User Settings” function of the “User Admin” panel, and paste the address it into the appropriate field. In general, it is advisable to save the image to your hard drive and/or to an image-hosting site in order to avoid having your image blocked by the original host (see below).

quote:

Q: I have an image on my hard drive or in my email that I’d like to use for my avatar or signature, or post in a thread. How do I do that? A: Visit free image hosting sites such as www.imageshack.us or other such sites. Follow the instructions to upload your image, then copy and paste the “direct link” into the appropriate field. You will need to ensure that you use the “direct link” to the image, i.e., the link without any additional HTML language.

I use imgur.com bc I don't think imageshack works anymore. But you will have to go there, create an account. Once you have an account you upload pictures. Then you go to that picture and copy the BBCode link. When you come back to this site and you are starting a thread or replying to a comment you will see the list named Markup. Under it it has link, img, B, etc... Click img, paste the link into the box that pops up and hit okay.
