Who is disrupting the board?

And that will be stopped if it happens.
If you guys don't want the scores in the thread I have no problem with that. But we are not going to stop people from having an open discussion about a match in progress or one that has just completed.
ok

You guys are absolutely being stupid.
You guys read and respond to only what you feel like.
Scores in game titles is not the issue.
Slo next time you want to throw your fancy words out, try using them in proper context.

I've already stated my opinion. Repeating it would be a waste of time.
And it's already been decided by the powers that be. Seems like the FIRST frickING RULE is incorrect, by your definition.

FIRST frickING RULE
A) who made this rule? if the rule is not enforced by the admins, is it really a rule at all?
B) there is a time and place for that rule, and this WC is not it. When the games come on at 2AM regularly, it is understood and expected that most people will not be viewing these games live but at different times throughout the coming days. However, when the games are at noon, 3 and 6 PM, one should expect that a large portion of people will be watching these games live.
so if you dont want to know the outcome, stay off the internet.
with a sporting event as widely covered as the WC, id imagine you would also have to stay off espn, espn.com, all major news sites, espn radio, any other sports message board, reddit, etc, etc.

98+% of soccer boards don't post scores.

the whole point is that with the board's very reasonable system, you can participate on the board without having to do this
what is more reasonable and/or efficient:
(1) having discussions about the game limited to the game at issue, allowing free flowing discussion on the board about all other soccer-related issues AND keeping clutter off the board
or
(2) having multiple threads discussing the game, restricting who can post on the board and completely disrupting any sense of security or flow, WHILE adding tons of clutter to the board
seriously. tell me which one is more reasonable and efficient

Jesus Christ, I asked a simple question. One you addressed saying for the wc we should let the rule go. Do you see me saying "onoz don't put the score". I'm asking a legit question here. This post may not have started about putting scores in the title, but it has evolved into it.

rationality and reasonableness apparently leads to this

No one wants to post scores. That's been said 30 fricking times in this thread.
This thread is about other threads like "Dandy suicide watch" and "post here if you had Spain in the finals" that could give away the ending. If you don't want to see possible threads like that stay off the internet.

obviously 1 is more reasonable, but it is not realistic for people who are only going to post on the Soccer Board during WC time to know/accept/follow this expectation.
during big games, the board will become a clusterfrick similar to the rant and or score board during football games.
and the WC score board request has already been denied.

I give up. I will just start banning everyone of the incessant cry babies who RA the shite out of every "non regular" who posts on "their" board.

rustled?
the only time i "raised my voice" was when somebody acted like this overall policy is some secret that it's impossible to know about
and, ironically, it was a request for education. well this thread is a big example of people explaining why the preference exists on the board, while those he asked to be educated keep closing their ears about it

Well unfortunately for y'all, if you want to discuss that you risk seeing a threads like "adios Spain" or "That van Persie goal was sick!"
When the Olympics were ongoing, if there was an event I wanted to see that night and hadn't watched yet. I just stayed off of here and twitter so I wouldn't get spoiled.

again
this isn't a "world cup" board or a "Score board"
it's the "Soccer board", so there is more than just the WC going on
not comparable
