Back space moves me back 2 pages

Don't know if anyone else is having this problem.
When I'm in a thread and want to back space to the previous page, I get jumped back at least 2 pages and sometimes more???
This only happens on this site.
Any thoughts from you guys???

Push 'ctrl' one time on each of the two keys. Then do the same with 'alt'. Then quit touching those four keys.

Two keys on your keyboard should say 'ctrl'. Two should say 'alt.' push each of the four keys once.

No burns from the self destruct...
Still getting the two page move when I hit the blue back space arrow.
I am not using a mouse on the lap top.
This only happens on this site. Navigating other sites is not a problem.
So I have decided that I'll just have to live with it. It's a real pain in the arse, but I have checked for remedies here and on the internet and come up shooting blanks...

Is 'scroll lock' on? If it is, turn it off. Tap your 'insert' (teehee) key as well.
You basically have a 'stuck' key somewhere (on the software level), more than likely.
ETA- if you open up the on-screen keyboard, you may see which one is 'pressed' down.
