Apology to Admins and request for Help

I don’t know how to deactivate this account or change my handle. I’ve been a member of this site for some time, but I am not good with technology. You can see from the post history that I don’t even know how to post a picture. I tried to start a new account, but was awaiting activation. I do not intend to use this one, but I don’t know how to delete it. If that’s an issue, please delete this account and activate my new one. I never got an email or notification letting me know that I couldn’t have more than one account at one time when I created the new one, otherwise I wouldn’t have asked my brother to post requesting activation. I asked my brother to post to activate the new one here, honestly not thinking it would be a problem. I apologize if this caused a problem, it wasn’t intentional. I humbly beg you great Admins to delete this old account and activate my new one, or let me know if thats not possible. I would like to use the new one, but if it’s a huge problem then I completely understand. Thanks for the help and a great website.

What’s the difference between this one and a new account?

My current user name has my actual name in it. Poor judgment when I first set this up. Now some people I associate with for my business figured out it was me. I post on the politics board often (hence the new user name I requested). I don’t want the risk of offending someone while posting on a site that is supposed to be anonymous. Sad to have to worry about that, but that’s the way the world is today. One wrong statement can cause serious damage to your company, whether it’s offensive or not.

Well it sounds like you outed yourself, in addition to posting things you probably shouldn’t have while under the assumption of anonymity.
ETA So you created an alter account, then tried to say it was someone else’s so it needed to be activated; both of which are against the rules. Then you want this account deleted (which isn’t gonna happen) and you want to use the new username you now admitted to creating?
You’re lucky you still get to post under this username. You’ve been here long enough, you should know this.
