Adware/Malware pop ups with Safari on SEC Rant

Started yesterday while using an IPad IOS 10.3.3 seems to be embedded in the SEC RANT url. The pop up is Congratulations IPad user, you’re a winner ...... yeah lucky me, I got your damn adware/malware fricking free. Anyways, if I copy the URL after it pops up and add it to my restricted websites it also blocks SEC Rant, anyone else dealt with this issue?

I’ve done a web search for this particular adware/malware and there’s a lot of users complaining but there’s very little information on how to clear it from your device without a hard reset and some have complained that didn’t work either.

BTW I’m not saying the SEC RANT website is the origins of the adware/malware but it seems my Ipad SEC RANT URL is the one infected because other websites aren’t giving me the pop up.....yet!
