Ads with Sound SUCK

PLEASE get rid of them. I keep having random ads start talking to me while I am surfing TDings. Please get rid of these; they are the equivalent of a pop-up except the "mute" option won't even work in the ad!

can't help you unless I know more about it...what is the ad for? screen shot would help, but, at the least, a description of the ad.

One was a GEICO commercial. I'll take a screenshot the next time it pops up.

I haven't seen it today, but I had a problem with them earlier this week. Also in the topics of interest section at the bottom of the page. Mine had something to do with Mormonism.

I got a few last week, then they stopped, then just now Dr. Katz popped in and was telling me about heart procedures. That ended and some Spanish lady started chatting.

I think it's fixed. I'm still getting ads (Lysol, Resolve, Easyoff), but no sound.

Agreed. Please, please get rid of them. I stopped going to ESPN.com because every single page has a video ad like that with the sound on. It's awful.
Don't tarnish this fantastic message board with ads like that.
ETA: It was at the bottom and it started off with, "It's hard to send your kids to college..." or something like that. It startled me. Just happened like 5 minutes ago.

I just opened a few topics of interest in new tabs (as I often do) and three of them started playing an audio ad at the bottom at the same time. They were all playing a different ad so it was a jumbled mess. I closed them and came here to complain but didn't get a screenshot unfortunately...

Hey Chicken, here's an example of one.
First it looks like this, two talking heads with no sound...
But every now and then it's interrupted by commercials...the actual ad is interrupted by commercials. These commercials play sound. Here's an example of one - suddenly I heard lightsabers and trumpets and turned to the tab to see a Star Wars ad. The ad played TWICE in a row, then went back to the silent talking heads...
edit: it just happened again, in another tab. it was the same "trending" thing but with different heads talking about a different thing, and different ad. there's a button on the bottom that says "click for sound" and shows a muted speaker (you can see it on the star wars example,) but the ad within the ad plays sound anyway...clicking the speaker does nothing. when it was done, it went back to the silent heads. it's like a time bomb of sound
