You do not know what you'd do if your coach had sexually abused you. That's stupid. You can't say what you will or will not do in a given situation if you've never been in it. You should've have learned that lesson in life by now.

Gotta agree with Zach here - this is at least (or was, from what I can surmise) an interesting point of discussion on a relevant topic. If it makes y'all uncomfortable, then point out why he is wrong or why you disagree with the point.

It shouldn't be deleted but Zach is completely wrong in this case. He's thinking that he was as mature and strong minded as a 10 year old as he is today, which is completely untrue. These boys, in their statements, talked about how uncomfortable the interaction made them and how they would try to sit as far away as possible. However, he was showering them with gifts and giving them male attention that they were getting nowhere else. The boys were at a fragile moment in their lives and they were manipulated and brainwashed. None of them wanted the sexual interaction with Sandusky and it's repulsive that anyone here would suggest that.
It sickens me that someone here would suggest that people get molested because they're gay. What about 10 year old girls who are raped by fully grown adult males? I mean, they're most likely straight does that mean they're giving consent? No. There is a reason you cannot give consent as a 10 year old.

And I'm not saying I agree with Zach - I don't think the kids are gay. But it does make you wonder why they didn't do more to avoid it or stop it. I suspect they just didn't really understand what was being done to them.

They were 10 year old at-risk children. Do you know how vulnerable a 10 year old child, let alone one who doesn't have a positive male influence in his life? You're putting yourself in their shoes with your mature brain. They were as vulnerable as possible and that's what makes Zach's insinuation sickening.
