I have repeatedly gotten this message:


"Do not use any copyrighted images in these fields without permission of the copyright owner(s)"

Then the admins just decide you must not have permission, or cannot use it through 'fair use' and delete the picture.

Copyright flows from creation. Every picture has copyright. In every story written copyright belongs to the writer. The rub is protecting your copyright or getting the value out of it which might accrue therefrom.

There is also the concept of fair use.

I guess my point is that the admins are dropping people's avatars when they have no idea who has the copyright or if using an image is an infringement.
