Would it be a popup or virus that only affects this site? I have no issues anywhere else and they are also showing up TD mobile on iPhone.
These popups and redirects are the herpes of tigerdroppings. We just need to figure out which admin is spreading it. My money is on Larry Leo.

it's a server somewhere between the users and the TD domain that isn't fulfilling the request in a timely manner. It's usually not a problem with protocol agreement or malware.
ETA: Chicken, it's an issue for the ISP to address because the issue lies somewhere in-between Scooba's computer and the server that hosts TD.

Sounds like several posters are just now starting to have the same problem. Forgive my ignorance but could there be something on TD, perhaps some code, that is causing a delay in transmission?

For other types of broken pages, it could be a coding issue...or something more insidious, like a Distributed Denial of Service attack or malware. However, a 504 error points specifically to a problem in the chain between user(s) and host server.

The links that you and another poster posted led me to the redirects that have been hitting mobile in the past month, not a 504 error.
This is just my speculation for right now, but the Gateway error is probablying related to the ISP of the redirect site, not related to TD's ISP.
That won't stop the issue, but it does limit the help that Chicken can get from his ISP.

I just got it again twice in a row. Only happens on TD.

Same here, two different threads about 30 seconds apart. I spend all day on the internet for work and it only happens on this site.
