It is a fitness tracker, tracks body stress, sleep, all of that good stuff. Heart rate variability.

I have a garmin that tracks a lot but I only where it went I run because it is so big

I use it.

I love it for telling my how much sleep i get and how it affects my recovery from strain. But its all heart related. It has nothing to do with recovery of muscles.

But it also tells me when im getting sick. My recovery goes way down before i get sick.

if you start an activity, it'll tell you how much strain you put on your heart and how many calories you burned.

Im unsure of how accurate it is tho. Most days it says i burn 3,300 calories or so. I don't think that right.

I have a tendency to push the envelope on over training, that's where I think I would benfit

I heard a wise man say "You can't over train. Think of it as under recovering".

It tracks sleep well. Which is why i wanted it.

Both come into play for me sometimes. I push my body to a point of breakdown. I don't do rest days is one of the main reasons. Thinking if the app told me to rest, maybe I would listen. Then again, I may just ignore it anyway

It doesn't really say rest.

It has a strain index and it gives you strain levels throughout the day and per activity if you want.

It'll tell you "you're recovery was low last night, try to have a low strain day" and stuff like that. Which is basically what you want.

I have one and used it for a year. The best IMO part was the sleep tracker. After a year I felt like I was on a good pace/schedule and did not renew the $30/month subscription.

Another reason I did not renew was when I tested the HR monitor vs a chest HR monitor and the variance was more than I expected- which gave me pause about the recovery calculation.

I've been thinking this. I don't think the calorie count is right. It always says i burn a ton of calories and I really don't see in on my body. I'd be in a huge deficit.

Also, all the athletes you see in training wear chest monitors.
