Granted, I have always been somewhat of a supplement whore and oftentimes find myself buying whatever the latest and greatest thing being pimped on Amazon. So it was no surprise when this Irish Sea Moss started showing up in my ads here. What is a little surprising is just how often I am getting these ads the last month, and that I had literally never heard of it until then. Any experience or even knowledge of this stuff?

If it is being advertised to you and is related to fitness, there’s about a 95% chance that it’s snake oil.

I would say it’s probably snake oil - my ancestors immigrated over here so they could eat a decent meal instead of that stuff - so I’ll say no

Rich in potassium chloride, Irish moss can work wonders for congestion and mucous and holds anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties. It's also thought to be good for dry skin and for skin conditions ranging from eczema to psoriasis, making it a valued ingredient for lotions and moisturizers.
