I do two 36 hr fasts per week. Stop eating Sunday night, break fast Tuesday morning. Stop eating Wednesday night, break fast Friday morning.

Keto rest of week… I plan my cheat meals/drinking like Tiger pics tournaments to play… Just look at the calendar and for every one cheat day/weekend, I have to have 3 clean weekends.

Trying to lose 15 lbs (already lost 40lbs a few years ago). Works for me.

I'm also surprised he's only lost 15 pounds but I also have no idea what he started at. If he weighed 160 to start, 15 pounds is significant.

As far as losing muscle mass in 72 hours; I wouldn't worry too much about that. Getting weaker after a couple of days without food would be a terrible survival mechanism for a species that evolved with food scarcity being the norm, not the exception, like it is today.
