I like parts of the Westside mindset, but what gets me is the guys saying Louie stopped coaching them when they fell out of contention for records.
I like Alsruhe and Neversate because their mindset is about what you bring mentally with effort and drive. It doesn't matter if you're a champ or a beginner.
Plenty of people have told stories about how things with Louie change when you're not a contender any more. I will give it up that the doc actually included some of those stories, which made it fairer.
Miles Taylor is a good example. He lifts at Neversate and has cerebral palsy. He'll never be breaking records, but he goes hard and pushes his limits despite a built in excuse not to. That dude is ****ing inspiring and I'd rather lift with him than someone breaking records without that mindset.
