There’s no shortage. Have you been diagnosed with ADD, or are you just taking it for the “speed” effects? Leave it alone for the kids that really have a diagnosis. Otherwise, have your doc prescribe some Ritalin.
If you call around, they’re unlikely to tell you they have it because there’s so many drug seekers like you and they’re tired of dealing with your type.

This is likely satire, but in case it isn't, this is a horrible misrepresentation of ADHD/ADD.

The H in ADHD has less to do with kids that are all jacked up and need to run around (although it encompasses that) and more to do with a lack of impulse control. It can legit ruin your life if uncontrolled. It often manifests as an inability to be satisfied in life, always jumping from one thing to another, careless mistakes, unfinished projects. It's an imbalance in the way neurons are firing in the brain. It's not really funny for people who are actually afflicted.

I know, no fun at parties.

Yes I was diagnosed by a msw then I had to see a ADD specialist in Baton Rouge that ran some tests to verify. This was about 15 years ago.
I’ve tried Ritalin and others and I prefer Vyvanse.
My type? Wtf - you think I’m making this crap up or I enjoy taking this because I want to?
Are you an Expert in this field?

I've had luck with small local pharmacies. I tried back in the fall and no big brand had any except 1 CVS. Ever since I swapped to a local, no issues. Although a couple of times the girl at the front asked me to wait while she checked with the pharmacist to make sure they had some. Makes me think that sometimes they have issues too but I've always gotten mine.

i've been off and on ALL the diff kinds of add medicine my whole life. in the end, even tho vyvanse was so promising for so long by comparison to the others, it still takes a physical toll. you're just better off with good rest, enough water, and a cup of joe.

those are some bad drugs, man. just my $0.02

What physical toll if you don't mind me asking?

First of all, it is a physical stressor for me. Long term, I've had g.i. related issues that is exacerbates a lot. It hurts your sleep, and that has a lot of affects. Some people grind their teeth (not me). But on top of physical stress, it does add to a mental stress as well and that can show its ugly head as well physically. that's why i mean it's more of a long term thing. also it dehydrates you.

hard to really explain, just after a long time on any of these types they just sorta begin to tax you physically, but also mentally for me.

being off of them and just bucking up on some of my attention deficit areas is the only way I fly now other than coffee or the occasional 8oz redbull.

Thanks for sharing I did find a local pharmacy that would fill the prescription- but it took calling 7 local firms.
I appreciate your information

Thanks, I was just curious.

I’ve noticed the dehydration but that’s about it. I e had a little trouble sleeping but that’s more due to my sleep schedule than anything else. Euro issues falling asleep, just keep waking up early.

I took vyvanse about 15 years ago and noticed some teeth grinding back then but none this time.
