Has anyone ever tried this program? I am currently sitting at 5'11" 195, and I am trying to burn off a layer of fat while trying to gain some muscle. I guess I'm going for a bit of a lean bulk. I'm searching around for programs right now and saw this one. I also saw a Greek God program by Greg O'gallagher suggested in another thread. Any advice on what I should go with here?

try the greek god program. Just add squats and deads, its a good program. You are looking for more of a Recomp. If you can't find the links let me know.

This program for bulking or cutting? Moderate fat loss or extreme? Does he talk about diet in the book? Found the links on your google drive.

can be for any. Diet is linked below

leangains calc LINK

lazy if you are looking for fatloss, just use the kinobody greek god workout adding squats and deads. Use the first calc linked and set to AFL aggressive fat loss and use those macros. As you get below 15% bf switch to the leangains macro calc as you will need the higher protein to keep from losing muscle.

the greek god program btw is more of a lean bulking program but can be used with the aggressive fat loss macros i linked above for faster fat loss 3-4 pounds a week if you go down to the 10kcals per lbs of bw. or can be used with the WSP macros for a slow fat loss or the greek god recomp settings from the second calc i linked.

the reason I say use those, they are easier to hit then trying to macro and calorie cycle like the leangains calc lays out. and its not needed to go that advanced until lower bf levels.

lsu777,

Are the GGP programs worth the money? I'd like to do an entirely new training program. I feel stagnate in my training and I keep getting injured.

69 bucks isn't much I wanted your opinion. I'd do the warrior shred. Thanks!

That's the idea. I've got some definition but I'm wanting to take that next step.

The author of this Greek god program doesn’t have an impressive physique at all. I feel like that could almost be achieved through diet alone.

The fact that he claims his legs get too big if he does 3 sets of squats per week is laughable too.

Greg has a really nice physique imo, but I think what draws people to his programs are that you only work out two to three days per week and you do the IF and eat whatever the frick you want.

Wait what in the frick? Don't know what your definition of impressive is. UT this certainly qualifies to me

As far as squatting and deadlifts, yea I think he is wrong on those, but what he considers asthetic, might not be the same as mine.
You can not even come close to building the above with diet alone, that's laughable.

Also you do not just do IF and eat whatever your want. Kinobody still has you tracking calories and macros. But it's not as strict as say leangains where you are cycling macros and calories, timing macros and calories etc. Kino uses a flexible dieting approach of

1) if you meet you calories for the day-good day
2) meet your protein requirements- great day
3) then split the rest of the calories how you like.
4) if you want to cycle macros and calories-optimal

And the above principles work for 98% of people. Combining it with a weight program that uses intelligent progressions and it's a recipe for success. Have the weight lifting sessions focusing on mainly upper body is the icing on the cake.

With all that said, Greg is a complete douche bag much of the time, among other terrible qualities. Overall I think he is a good person but is just so full of himself that he can't help but come off as a douche.

He suffers from back issues so his routine isn't heavy on that stuff.

Yea that what he says now, but he used to say he didn't like squats cause it made your legs grow the outer sweep which he considers feminine. Also that pants don't fit right.

But you don't have to squat and deadlift, they are just great lifts. But to each their own, I go through cycles myself with no deads or barbell squats.
