I’m 21 years old and getting a tooth implant on my lateral upper Incisor. Have any of y’all had any experience with this? I was born without it and have had a bridge but will be getting the Implant soon. Just wondering how long it took to heal and if your happy with it! Thanks!

I had an osseous implant done awhile back for one of my front teeth. It's definitely a pain in the arse on those front teeth because the dr. has to create a really really really good temp for you while the implant is taking. But beyond that, not painful (especially since you don't even have to have the tooth extracted) and damned well worth it. That thing will be indestructible. Good luck!

I've had to have a number done because I was missing a bunch of adult teeth. As long as you dont need a bone graft, which is more significant and only if there isnt enough bone around the implant area, its an easy and pretty simple procedure. I take a day off work for the procedure and thats it. You might have a bit of swelling for a couple days. I don't know how they are doing yours, but the ones I've done took about 6 months to fully set until they put the final crown on. In the mean time, they will make you a temporary bridge. I am extremely happy with the results and they are definitely the best long term solution.
