Stress fractures in both feet

Anyone else dealt with this? I've been off my feet with this crap since the last week of January. The doc told me 4 weeks to be back on my feet and 12 weeks for a full recovery but I'm 8 weeks in and it hardly seems like I've improved at all. Just wondering if any of the regulars here have been through this and how long until you were back to where you were before?

I’ve had something going on in my right foot near the ball for a month now. Really just hurts when I wear non running shoes. Kind of have a limp in the morning but it goes away when I run. Not sure what it is.

Mine started as a pain in my left foot that I ignored for a couple months. Then I went hiking for a few days in January in work boots like a dumbass and now I have fractures in both of them. Don't do that.

Yep. Happened to me TWICE in my 20’s. Apparently my arches were to high causing a stress point on both feet. Fractured both feet twice within a 4 year period. Had expensive orthotics made and have been fine ever since.
