SIRVA

Anyone have experience with this? Got the covid vaccine on March 5 (wasnt going to and got talked into it and now regret it greatly) and knew immediately they messed up sticking the needle way to high right into shoulder joint instead of deltoid. Hurt at the moment of shot but pain quickly went away and all was normal for 2 weeks. I could "feel" the spot still during those 2 weeks but didnt hurt.
Until March 19 when the injection spot became very sore and it bacme very painful to lift arm out to the side and could only go maybe half way up. This pain has persisted now for almost 2 weeks and I do not think it is the "covid arm" that has been commonly reported but instead I believe it to be SIRVA.
I have contacted my doctor about it but he did not seem to know much about and it has me taking 600mg ibuprofen, icing it and rest for a week and see what it does. Have not been able to find much info online about it other than it can happen with any vaccine administered incorrectly and can very from days to weeks to months to years to some never fully recovering.
so anyone have to deal with this or maybe know of a doctor that has experience with it?

Contact an ortho and get an ultrasound done ASAP.

Certainly is my next step if the ibuprofen and ice don’t lead to quick improvement. Only been doing that since Monday evening and I feel like today I had less pain and more range but hard to say if it really was or I’m just getting adjusted to it. Trying to get some recommendations for a local ortho who has some experience with it. Seems like most have only heard of it at best
