Definitely a cheaper alternative than the Antarctic Marathon. That costs over $20k and I think you still need to find a way to Argentina/Chile wherever they fly you out.

Running on ice/ packed snow is miserable. Having shaky legs, constantly finding balance, and the freezing temps absolutely wears on you.
Not sure how some of those people are going the distance without spikes.
