I ordered my first pair of Hoka's this past weekend. Went with the Hupana.

I just switched to Saucony Liberty ISO and love them. I am a beginner and would get knee and leg aches. After 4 weeks with running 2-2.5 miles three days a week, I haven’t had any knee or leg issues.

My ghosts have bit the dust after about 250 miles. Frayed everywhere and lost a bit of their cushion

They were great and I’ll always remember them as the first shoes I first put heavy mileage on as well as ran my first half marathon in. But I don’t think I’ll get another pair of Ghosts again.

Might try launch or glycerin in the future but I’m rolling with NB and Saucony at this moment.

I've never had a pair of running shoes do this. Any brand. Yeah, they lose cushion after 300-500 miles. But I've never had them fall apart. In fact, if you don't look at the bottom of my shoes, most of them look damned good when I'm throwing them out. Almost feel bad. I do throw them in the wash and let them dry under a fan after a while. I sweat and will soak through shoes though. They smell like arse after a bit, so require a cleaning.
