anyone experienced this? there’s been a few times a week for the last couple months where my upper back on the left side of my spine seized up causing good amount of pain to where i was unable to move. lasted maybe 15-20 seconds and then it just goes away
not sure if this is what i’m experiencing as i just did a quick google search but seeing if anyone experienced this?

I get cramps in mine all the time. Like having a charlie horse between my shoulder blades. I went to a massage therapist several times and told her to fix it no matter how much it hurt. Had to bite the pillow while she worked out the knots.

never had a cramp but i’m guess that sounds like what i felt
yesterday morning i got out of bed and hit me like a sack of bricks. i tried to move/stretch my back/arms around to minimize the pain, but i couldn’t get myself to budge so i slowly laid on my back until it disappeared
nothing in my routine has changed..i go hard every day. it was just so unexpected.

Here's a video of Athlean-X showing how to stretch out your rhomboids. They are really difficult if you don't know how:

Have you tried Yoga? I use to make fun of yoga women and now I do it 2x a week along with weight training
Its really loosened up my upper back and neck.
