Yesterday I was in my home office finishing up, had my left leg up on desk with right leg crossed over......finished up and then got up to walk into the living room.

I noticed a little pain in my left patella when I got up, but when I tried to extend and put weight on it there was no way to straighten my leg and it was very painful. I hoped to a column in the living room and leaned on it, lowered my self to the ground.

After a few minutes I was able to completely relax my left quad and straighten my leg flat. I moved my patella around, felt no pop or anything weird. Was able to get up and it was as if nothing happened. This morning I have some soreness, but other than that nothing.

Anyone have any issues similar? If so, do you do anything about it? MD? Advice? That was something I would really rather never happen again.

Are you talking about jerking off?

Sometimes, the tendons or ligaments get pushed over the edge of a bone. If you try to stretch or bare weight when they are like that, it will stretch them too much and cause some soreness. Probably nothing to worry about unless it keeps happening.
