I keep a spreadsheet.

If I'm doing regular sets I have a note saying 3 sets of 10 at whatever weight.

If it's drop sets I just have a note with the weight so I'm not thinking about a number of reps. Then when I get home I see how I did compared to last time I lifted, bro.

I also make a note saying "To easy LOL" if that's the case, so next time I know to move the peg to the next higher weight.

Setgraph took me a while to input all the exercises I do. I did them in categories depending on which PPSA program I was doing but then said screw that and just use the All Exercises folder. It has everything there and I just search for what I need. But I really like the app. For $30/yr it’s a great deal and now I have a couple years of data I like scrolling down to see how far I’ve come on certain exercises or where I need to tick up a bit more on.
