Need you guys help. Having surgery on Friday and did says I can't lift/run for 2-3 weeks

How can I stay in shape? Dieting and slow walking. REALLY dreading losing my form. Haven't one a week without lifting in years

I would follow their instructions to the letter as far as recovery goes.

I don't think 3 weeks will set you back much, if any.

What kind of surgery? Is it because of an injury from working out?

Meat, lots of it for the creatine. Bone broth, lots of it. You'll want the kind of broth that gels in the fridge, meaning more collagen (which is roughly 1/3 of the protein in your body. Getting a many nutrients into your body helps heal it faster.

But, 2/3 weeks wont hurt, it'd probably help you get stronger by resting. Hey, it could be 2-3 months...

Just focus on recovery from your surgery. Follow any restrictions your surgeon gives you. They tell you can't do things for a reason.


What kind of surgery?
