Any recommendations on an app?
I use the Lose It app. It's pretty simple. You put in all your info and what you want to lose. It's sets a budget. It's not gospel. But it's a good reference. Has a deep library. Makes it easy to find popular foods. But you might have to improvise at times. You can add to your daily totals with activity.
Initially I set it for 2lbs a week and kept it under the daily allotment. As you lose weight you have to keep dropping down (less weight to maintain means less calories). I would try to cycle in random low days (under my daily by 500+) to keep my body guessing. Still get plateaus and other times it comes off quick. Just have to stick with it..
