LCL Sprain/Strain

Long time listener, first time caller. Recently picked my cardio back up significantly and of course probably pushed myself too hard with the mileage. Ran Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday of last week and on Saturday started feeling a pain along the outside part of my left knee which was impacting my running. Could walk on it relatively fine, continued to run on it but not for extended amount of times like I had the few days prior. Wake up Sunday morning and I could barely walk down stairs and I’m thinking shite I probably tore it. Fast forward to today and I feel 0 pain there. If I turn my leg wrong maybe a slight pain but that may be just in my head at this point. Figure I got lucky and sprained or strained it so how long do you baws feel I should rest this knee before resuming the running? Walking is completely fine. Can walk down stairs with no pain, etc.
