Read up some more on fiber - it's a bit scammy too. You'll find that you don't need to be "regulated" so much if you cut the carbs (and especially if you up the meat consumption.)

No. I've spent the better part of the past 3 years intensively investigating nutrition and metabolic health, as well as "experimenting" on my own body and observing outcomes for dozens of people I know who have made dietary changes. I now realize that this makes me more qualified than the average doctor - doctors receive virtually zero nutrition training in medical school (and what they do receive is nothing more than the orthodoxy of the past 50 years) and thus are usually just passive consumers of the same nonsense we've been force-fed since the 50s.

It would be an understatement to say I've been shocked at what I've discovered during this time period. If you want a good walk through the high-level of the material, then I recommend one blog - TUIT Nutrition - and one book - to get you started.
