Been thinking of picking some up. Can't decide

I don't think so
Unless you have a very severe depressed immune system
Not sure who downvoted me, but there is nothing in the scientific literature that indicates glutamine is a beneficial ergogenic aid for healthy males when peforming resistance training.
i know this because i was proposing to do a thesis that implements glutamine as an ergogenic aid during 12 weeks of resistance training plus doubling the dosage that was indicated in prior research.
but due to its cheap costs it wouldnt necessarily hurt to try it.

Most supplements give you expensive pee.

It will help recovery some but nothing like a proper diet and good sleep will. But I mean it's like $10 so it's not like a strain on the wallet.

If you want something for recovery you'd be better off getting a quality BCAAs supplement, like Scivation's Xtend, IMO.

L-Lysine is better in my opinion

Matt Fraser takes it, so I'm taking it
