I’ve been doing IF for a few weeks now strict but wanted to get an opinion. I do a program at a CrossFit Gym (T/Thurs 5 AM) then ride our Peloton 3 other days a week in the AM along with this. I’ve been doing my fast from 8PM-12PM but these workouts burn between 650-750 calories in 45 minutes. Should I change my fast to where I skip dinner or keep as I’ve been doing? Any opinions appreciated.

I do basically what you do, except I swim, run, and bike. If weight loss is your primary goal, as is mine right now, it is best bc you get that HR elevated and then straight burn for 4-5 hours before you eat. I did a 2 hr run this morning at 5am, got done at 7 and had an espresso carry me until 1pm.

No doubt! I ran with my dad this morning, who is trying to qualify for Boston again and he’s 66 years old. It was 2 hours at a 9:15 pace!lol HR never got over 140. But yeah, when I do my endurance runs around 7:25 or my sub 7 tempo runs I try to do them in the afternoon so I can put protein in me ASAP! But since doing my IM a few weeks ago I’m just in a pure weight loss phase. Lost 10lbs in 10 days and know it will gradually slow, but ideally I’d like to lose 25-30 lbs total over about 4 months before I go back to race training.
