I've never used one, but have thought about getting one.

Have you ever seen the video of the woman who thought her fitness ball was a slam ball? She slammed it down and it bounced right back in to her face. Good stuff!

I do 3 sets of 20 throws over the shoulder. It’s a great core workout.

I incorporated some of my natural movement practice in to a slam ball workout.

5 Sets 10 reps: I started in a deep squat, lifted the ball to my chest like a goblet squat. Stood up, overhead pressed the ball and the slammed the fricker in to the ground all in one motion.

3 Sets 8 Reps Alternating sides: I Started in a deep squat, lifted the ball to my shoulder and then tossed the ball using a shot putting motion.

3 Sets 10 Reps Alternating Sides: over the shoulder throws.

All in all great workout and lots of fun.

No clue what that was, but now I do. Interesting.

Good video on selection.

I made one myself a while back. Cut a little hole in a basketball, filled it with sand and covered the whole thing with a couple of layers of duct tape.
