IMO it was better in a time period where there wasn't near as much readily available info for your Average Joe or Jill to find for legitimate weight loss. The groups held people accountable and I still use some of the old recipes from my Mom's old WW cookbooks.

I did it and lost some weight but it just wasn't something I could sustain long term. You really do end up feeling like you're starving. Also WW products are a sham and not really worth the time.

she said she went to bed starving last night, leaving 3 points unused.

Weight Watchers literally allows you to eat an infinite amount of fresh fruits and veggies for 0 points. If she went to bed "starving" that's on her.

I've used WW on and off in the past, and am currently using it. it has the same faults as most diets, it works when you're on it but not when you stop. I agree with what others have said that it doesn't give you the tools to survive off WW.

It's legit. You have to follow the system though. I have quite a few friends who have done really well with it.
