Thinking of putting a power cage in an older house on piers. I anticipate using about 350 lbs. No deadlifts or intentional slamming of weights. Am I gonna crash through the floor?

I would suggest getting an inspector in to make sure there are no stractural problems.

Assuming your house beams are in great condition do the following to distribute the load
2*12s laid flat running perpendicular to the beams. 1 piece of 3/4" plywood on top of that and then rubber mats on that. Will distribute the load plenty enough to even do deadlifts.
As far as falling thru the floor, would a 500lbs fat person fall through

If you know the size of the beams I can run some quick calcs for you to ease your mind a little. Also get bumpers and you really will have nothing to worry about.

I don't know without crawling under there and measuring them. Just looking around at all the furniture and whatnot, I think it will be okay.
