Hitting the wallPosted by dbuchanon

Last Thanksgiving I knew I over did it a bit to the point where I had to hop on the scales and see the damage. 235 pounds!! The most Ive ever weighed in my life, I was disgusted. I was still recovering from my shoulder surgery I had in late August but I made it a goal to get back into the gym and get this weight down. I started lifting light at first due to my shoulder and slowly started upping the weight,I still dont go heavy as Im on more of a fat burning mission instead of adding bulk. Med weight / high reps while doing the elliptical glider-I do the glider instead of the treadmill due to my knees-. The first day on the glider I did about 8 min before I thought I was having a heart attack lol. I did 8 min for a few days then 10 min, up to 20, 40 and right now I am at an hour straight which I do everyday whether I lift or not. The weight has come down, as of this morning I am at 212 pounds and it seems like im stuck around that area. Ive knocked off of the Pepsi and I am paying more attention to what I eat. Just looking for some tips for getting past this 212 wall I seem to have run into. My goal is to get back to around 180 or so. The dream is 165. Any advice is appreciated.

Track what you eat in MyFitnessPal for a week without changing what you're doing. Report back here.
You'll likely need to adjust to the new weight maintenance calorie intake.

You can probably do a few days and then report back. Again in a week.
