Lol, and you want to ridicule someone else about being in the 90s

I would also why the hell where you lifting 5-6 days a week to begin with? Most people can't recover from that.

You can, easily.

Cardio is mindlessly getting on a piece of equipment or jogging just to jog with the sole intention of just getting your heart rate up.

Cardio is cardiovascular training. You have said a half dozen times cardio is useless and stupid and then to do it out of the other side of your mouth. You don't get to pick the definition of words.

This arguement is ridiculous in the first place and it was made worse by the fact that you can't stay on topic or make a fully coherent thought.

I'm not talking out the side of my mouth. I didn't pick the definition of cardio. Go take some courses and understand there is a difference between conditioning and cardio. Conditioning has a specific Plana d you are targeting specific energy systems. Not just doing cardiovascular training with the intent to just get the heart to a certain rate and keeping it there.

And no most normal people with jobs and kids can't recover from 5 or 5+ days of lifting, atleast not more than for 4-8 weeks. No offense but you are way off base here.

Typical cardio in you get on a treadmill or a bike or rven just going for a jog is tucking useless. I didn't change the subject or talk out my mouth.

It seems that when you all are talking

cardio vs. conditioning

it's similar to the distinction of:

exercising vs. training

One is just doing something to do the activity. The other is built around a specific plan to achieve specific outcomes for a specific activity.

Millions of people have been doing it for decades. If you don't want to, that's fine, but to say you can't is just as dumb as saying cardiovascular training is useless.

There you go defining words again.

Well said. Saying "just go lift weights" is just as useless as saying "just go run" both are better than nothing, but both are also incredibly inefficient.

Both of those disciplines also have their place in overall fitness.

Exactly. Think of cardio as something you see the cardio bunnies doing in the gym that look the same month after month. It's uesless

Think of lifting weights as going to planet fitness three days a week and wandering around doing a couple of sets on some random machines.

Do you not understand how ridiculous that sounds?

That's what most people do. That's called exercise or working out.

They should try strength training. Just like those doing cardio should try conditioning.
